FAQs

QUESTIONS OFTEN ASKED:

The best way to get started is to contact us by email or stop in the shop during business hours.  We will need to know the following information to be able to better assist you:

  • How many pieces do you need?
  • Where on the apparel would you like your imprint? (Left chest, full back, full front, sleeve, etc…)
  • How many colors are in your imprint design?
  • What kind of product do you want? (Shirt, sweatshirt, etc…)
  • Do you have a design ready or do you need design assistance?

10 business days after all of the following have been met:

  • Quote approved
  • Mock ups approved
  • Invoice paid

Our main process is screen printing. We also offer screen printed transfers, digital direct to film transfers, heat press vinyl, and embroidery.

We print with Plastisol or Water based inks. The right ink depends on what the finished product is going to be.

  • Plastisol Ink is a type of ink made from PVC particles and is essentially liquid plastic. It is more opaque and vibrant, cost effective and very forgiving.
  • Water Based Ink is exactly that water with high solid pigments. It is deposited in a thinner softer feel with a less vibrant more matte look with great breathability. It’s also better for the environment.

Yes, we do have minimums. Those minimums are based on colors in design and locations. We start at a minimum of 12 for one location, one color imprint. Rule of thumb is to add 12 for each color and/or location.

Examples: If you want a shirt with one color imprint on left chest and one color imprint on back, the minimum is 24 pieces. If you want 5 color imprint on the front only the minimum is 60 pieces.

Total number of pieces can be any combination of apparel that will have the same imprint on it. (ie. Shirt, long sleeve, crew, hoodie)

Because of the small size of our shop we can offer some but not all of the major brands. Our most popular is Bella + Canvas and Comfort Color, but can also get some, Nike, Carhartt, Adidas, and Champion.

We can certainly print on them for you. You may be required to sign a waiver that you are providing the garment. We also ask that you provide 3% more than what you are needed to account for damage and misprints that may occur in the process.

Attach it with your initial request so we can help determine if the art is print ready or if file needs to be updated, etc. Not sure what art work we accept? Please see our section on art work here. Its important to provide print ready artwork to avoid additional fees.

We are an all-inclusive shop. That means the set up fees and screen fees are all included in your per-piece price. That helps you know exactly what you will pay with no surprises at the end.

We do charge additional design/art fees when art files are not print ready, or you need us to design your apparel from a blank slate.

For a fee we can bring your idea to life and do the design for you!

Pricing is based on the following things:

  • Number of pieces (any combination of apparel, short sleeve, crew, hoodie, etc). The more you order the lower the per piece price,
  • Number of colors in your design. Each color in your design requires a separate screen. We can print up to 6 colors.
  • Number of print locations. Every time we print in a new location it is like printing a whole new shirt since it requires us to take it off the press and put it back on for the new location.
  • Quality and/or Brand of the garment. Nike will cost you more than Gildan. Tri-blend will cost more than cotton.

On average our customers spend a minimum of approximately $500.
